Ribeyes with Bone Marrow Butter and Mashed Potatoes: Ingredients:
- 2 organic ribeye steaks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 organic bone marrow bones
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the bone marrow bones in a roasting pan and place them in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the marrow is softened and starting to melt.
- Once the marrow is softened, place the seasoned ribeye steaks on top of the bones in the roasting pan.
- Roast the ribeye steaks and bone marrow together in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the steaks reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the steaks are cooking, boil the cubed potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork until smooth.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once the ribeyes are done, carefully scoop out the cooked bone marrow from the bones and add it to the melted butter. Cook until the marrow is fully incorporated into the butter.
- Gradually add the bone marrow butter and milk to the mashed potatoes, stirring until creamy and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the ribeye steaks with a generous dollop of bone marrow butter on top, accompanied by the luxurious bone marrow mashed potatoes.
